Euroclear acquired a strategic stake. market nodeis a digital market infrastructure operator based in Singapore.
The investment will support Euroclear’s growth strategy in the Asia-Pacific region, but financial terms were not disclosed.
Euroclear is a Belgium-based financial services company specializing in the clearing, custody and asset management of securities transactions in bonds, stocks and investment funds.
Marketnode, founded by SGX Group and Temasek operates two major platforms in 2021: Gateway, which focuses on tokenization, and Fundnode, a blockchain-based platform for transaction management and funds processing.
Earlier this year, Market Node raised Accelerate growth with Series A funding from HSBC and Temasek.
Euroclear’s investment in the company will be the company’s first strategic investment in Asia.
