Advance figures for the week ending November 2 are: Initial seasonally adjusted claims were 221,000an increase of 3,000 cases from the previous week’s revised value. Last week’s level was revised upward by 2,000 cases, from 216,000 to 218,000. The four-week moving average was 227,250, 9,750 fewer than the previous week’s revised average. Last week’s average was revised upward by 500 people, from 236,500 to 237,000.
