Ascot Limited, a global hospitality company with over 950 properties around the world, has taken over management of both the Millennium Hotel and the Copthorne Hotel at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea FC’s home stadium, from 26 November. The two hotels on the Stamford Bridge estate (now collectively known as Stamford Bridge Hotels) are located next to the Chelsea Football Club stadium and close to Fulham Broadway tube station. Following a complete refurbishment in 2025, Stamford Bridge Hotel will be rebranded to Ascott’s innovative LYF brand. The changes include interior modernization to create a dynamic environment that caters to travelers seeking flexibility and connection.
The new hotel will be called lyf Chelsea London. Ascott’s lyf brand is known for its experience-driven social living concept, tailored to modern travelers who seek flexibility and connection. This move will improve the guest experience through Ascot’s renowned operational expertise and global network, which will be further enhanced by our current partnership with Chelsea FC.
In July, Ascot was named Chelsea FC’s official global hotel partner. The collaboration currently offers ‘money can’t buy’ experiences exclusive to Ascot Star Rewards (ASR) members, including access to matches at Stamford Bridge and VIP visits to the club’s Cobham training ground. In addition, the Ascot brand will be prominently displayed during men’s and women’s matches at Stamford Bridge and across Chelsea’s social and digital channels.
