Taurus, a Swiss fintech company specializing in enterprise-grade digital asset infrastructure for banks, has strengthened its partnership with global banking software company Temenos.
The partnership will fully integrate Taurus’ custody solution, Taurus-PROTECT, into the Temenos Core banking system.
This will enable banks to seamlessly manage a wide range of digital assets, including cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets, within their existing infrastructure.
This partnership comes as global demand for digital assets accelerates due to clearer regulatory frameworks in major financial markets.
Major custodians and asset managers are entering the digital asset space, and many are leveraging Taurus’ technology to further institutionalize the industry.
By incorporating Taurus-PROTECT into Temenos Core, the integration automates key processes such as wallet creation, deposits, and transfers.
This eliminates the need for complex integrations, reduces manual work and operational risks, and ensures real-time booking and reconciliation of digital asset transactions in parallel with traditional assets.
The integration will allow banks to launch digital asset services within “days or weeks,” significantly reducing time to market.
Alexandre Duret, Senior Product Director Temenossaid,
“Our deep integration with Taurus provides banks with the infrastructure they need to quickly and efficiently launch digital asset services.
Providing a fully integrated system allows customers to offer digital assets alongside traditional services, reducing complexity and lowering barriers to entry. ”
Jürgen Hofbauer, Head of Global Strategic Partnerships at Taurus, added:
“This level of integration is a game-changer for financial institutions. It enables banks to manage digital assets like any other asset, opening new avenues of growth while reducing complexity. Masu.
We look forward to working with Temenos to release even more features for our typical clients. ”
