Case IH is gearing up for a full-scale launch in 2025, and North American farmers will see Case IH’s AF11 combines in the field in 2024.
The new combine made waves at last winter’s farm shows as Case IH showcased the 775-horsepower machine’s ability to integrate runtime advances through speed and technology to maximize productivity on the job site. In this report: commodity classic Leo Bose, Case IH Harvest Marketing Lead in Houston, Texas, discusses how consistent crop flow, reduced grain loss, and radar-controlled residue management deliver speed and throughput .
Boasting a 567-bushel grain tank and a 6-bushel-per-second unload rate, the AF11 features a large fuel tank for increased fuel efficiency and maximum uptime. As the first combine in the AF series, it offers a number of technology-focused features, including Case IH’s combine automation solution and Harvest Command.
Bose is also looking at how the AF11 and its new C516 cornhead work together to deliver a fast, clean harvest. His high-capacity 16-row header boasts the industry’s largest infeed auger, with an independent driveline and adjustable deck plate to help maximize throughput.
Compatible with all Axial-Flow and AF series combines, Bose says engineering advances have reduced the header’s weight by nearly 1,000 pounds and increased capacity by 23 percent over previous models. Watch the video below.
