Patina Maldives, in collaboration with Dive Butler International, has announced the launch of its premier sailing camp for teenagers aged 13 to 17. The program will run from July 14 to August 15 and will offer a unique combination of excitement, education and adventure in the Fari Islands.
The 5-day Youth Sailing Academy is a great opportunity for beginners to experienced young sailors to explore the art of sailing. Participants will not only learn basic sailing techniques, but will also develop essential life skills such as teamwork, resilience, problem solving and a deep connection with nature.
- Days 1 to 3: Ride the Waves on an RS Catamaran (4 hours daily): Learn the basics of sailing hands-on on an RS Catamaran with the guidance of an expert instructor. Step-by-step skill building that leads to a comprehensive understanding of sailing technology and safety.
- Day 4: Yacht Mastery on MY Amber (4 hours): Gain advanced training on a luxury yacht, hone your sailing skills, and experience the majesty of a large ship.
- Day 5: Skills Showcase (4 hours)
- On the final day, invite friends and relatives to witness the fruits of your labor as you demonstrate your refined skills around the lagoons of the Fari Islands.
Patina Maldives has partnered with Dive Butler International, the world’s leading provider of water sports and diving, to offer a fun and safe program. Participants receive personalized instruction in small groups for an unforgettable experience. All participants will receive a certificate to demonstrate the new skills and enthusiasm they acquired during the five-day intensive training.
For those looking to celebrate their newly acquired skills, an optional Sunset Celebration Cruise is available, allowing participants to join their peers and family for a memorable evening on the water, making the experience even more special.
The current fee for this program is $2,440 USD per student, excluding taxes and service fees.
