Robotics experts Elephant Robotics have launched their latest 6-axis robot arm, the myCobot Pro 630. With a working radius of 630mm and a maximum payload capacity of 2kg, the Pro 630 is easy to handle for robotics beginners and students, yet can also handle automation tasks in commercial industries.
Based on the Pro 600 platform, the 630 has the same payload capacity, despite being 30% smaller in size. Its onboard Linux-based visual programming Roboflow software allows for 24/7 unmanned operation. Wide compatibility from ROS1/2 and Gazebo to Python and C++ support, as well as USB, Wi-Fi and RS485 connectivity, make the platform extremely flexible. A built-in emergency stop function ensures safe operation. Like other Elephant products, the arm is designed to work with autonomous ground vehicles, freeing it from the desktop in the form of a combined device.
