We’re big fans of badges and #badgelife, so DORS/CLUC 2024 Badge It was super exciting to see it certified. Shaped like a penguin, the conference logo, with an e-paper display and, of course, lots of LEDs, the badge has some super fun features like broadcasting its own unique ID and listening for other badges’ signals to create a catch-the-all game.

This nifty chip is Open the MPW Shuttle program It empowered open source designers to create new boards without worrying about manufacturing costs, and it’s also the world’s first certified open source ASIC hardware project. And while we may be a little biased because Matt is donating $100 from every kit sold to OSHWA, we’re deeply grateful for this.
