• At 7 a.m. ET, the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Mortgage Purchase Application Index.
• 8:30 a.m. Consumer Price Index for May From the BLS. The consensus forecast is for CPI to rise 0.2% (up 3.4% year-on-year) and core CPI to rise 0.3% (up 3.5% year-on-year).
• 2 pm, FOMC StatementThe FOMC is expected to keep the federal funds rate unchanged at this meeting.
• Also at 2 p.m. FOMC Forecast This includes quarterly economic forecasts along with Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) participants’ forecasts of the appropriate target federal funds rate.
• 2:30 p.m. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell A press conference will be held after the FOMC announcement.
