Sun Siyam Iru Veli has announced the launch of a new community outreach programme, “IMPACT INITIATIVE – Care for Community”, which aims to strengthen its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts and foster stronger ties with local communities.
As part of this exciting new initiative, Sun Siyam Iru Veli hosted a special day visit for 29 grade 9 and 10 students and four enthusiastic teachers from Dh. Hulhudheli School on 9 June 2024. The day was packed with engaging activities aimed at providing the students with valuable insight into the hospitality industry and running a luxury resort.
The visit began with an informational session by the Management, Learning & Development team, which covered various aspects of resort management and career opportunities in the hospitality sector, encouraging students to explore various possibilities in the industry while also conducting special sessions designed to equip them to become better learners, students, workers, productive and responsible citizens. After the session, the students were taken on an educational field trip to observe the inner workings of the Front Office department. This hands-on experience gave the students a first-hand look at the day-to-day operations and the exceptional service standards maintained at Sun Siyam Iru Veli.
