IDEMIA Secure Transactions GreenPay Walleta new digital solution aimed at promoting regenerative sustainability in the banking sector. The announcement comes just before World Environment Day on June 5, 2024.
GREENPAY Wallet is a major step in IDEMIA Secure Transactions’ broader corporate social responsibility strategy.
This will enable the bank and its clients to contribute to global regeneration and social projects.
The solution has a software component that allows consumers to donate funds to NGO projects through their mobile banking app, and a digital platform that allows financial institutions to select and monitor impactful projects.
This initiative is IDEMIA’s GREENPAY Launched in 2020, the service initially focused on sustainable bank cards made from recycled PVC.
IDEMIA The company said it will ensure that each project within the GREENPAY wallet is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and meets strict standards for authenticity and impact.
Projects are carefully selected and monitored through regular reports.

The launch event, held at the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore on 30 May 2024, was attended by notable figures including Her Excellency Mindy Tan, Ambassador of France to Singapore, and Karine L’Espayander, Secretary General of the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
The initiative is part of the France-Singapore Joint Year of Sustainability (JYOS), established by French President Emmanuel Macron and Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong to strengthen cooperation in sustainable development.
