San Siyam Resort is pleased to announce the promotion of Sara Siyam from Creative Director to Marketing Director, effective 1 May 2024. During her successful tenure with San Siyam Resort since 2017, Sara has demonstrated exceptional leadership and creativity, driving brand development and innovative creative strategies.
In her new role as Marketing Director, Sara will lead the marketing department in refining San Siyam Resorts’ creative vision. She will be responsible for increasing brand awareness through integrated brand and marketing campaigns, as well as unique experiential events across all properties, ultimately driving company growth and revenue. Sara’s strategic focus will further strengthen San Siyam Resorts’ global brand presence and guest engagement.
Sarah began her career as Public Relations Executive at Sun Siyam Resorts and was quickly promoted to Assistant Manager, Public Relations and Marketing for the group before taking up the role of Public Relations and Marketing Manager for Siyam World Maldives in November 2020. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in the property’s launch in October 2021, leading the branding, content development, social and communications strategy.
Sara holds a Masters in International Tourism and Hospitality from James Cook University, Singapore and is known for her passion for innovation and creating exceptional guest experiences. Leveraging her family’s rich tourism and hospitality background, Sara is committed to positioning San Siyam Resort as a preeminent local brand synonymous with unparalleled experiences.
