Dear patient readers,
From now through next Monday, my posting schedule will be low-key, but I’ll link and post at least two articles each day so you don’t have to go completely off the rails. There’s so much going on right now, and our small army of loyal writers deserves a little respite, so I hope you won’t mind me cutting back on posts at a time when many of you are traveling, enjoying the beach, sunshine, or grilling shrimp on the BBQ.
Yes, I am well aware that this is Sydney, but I am still using this image because the best fireworks I have ever seen were in Sydney at the closing of the Olympics, closely followed by Sydney Harbour on New Year’s Eve.
So wherever you are, I hope you have a great weekend, even if it’s not a holiday where you live.
