The South Asia Travel Awards (SATA) has announced an exciting lineup of events for 2024, aimed at celebrating and recognising hospitality excellence across the region. Now in its eighth year, SATA continues its tradition of recognising outstanding achievements in travel and tourism in South Asia.
Supported by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Hotels Association of Nepal (HAN), the festivities will be kicked off with a grand cocktail event at Mala Hotel on September 19, 2024. The evening is organised as a premier networking opportunity, aiming to provide a platform to foster connections among key players in the industry and foster meaningful collaborations.
The much-anticipated awards ceremony will be held at Aloft Kathmandu the following day, on September 20, 2024. The event will recognise outstanding achievements in the hospitality industry in South Asia and showcase the best of the industry.
SATA has previously been held in various locations across South Asia including Mount Lavinia, Addu City, Mumbai, Galle City, Male Atoll and Bangalore. Notably, it was held virtually amid the pandemic, demonstrating SATA’s adaptability and commitment to celebrating excellence even in challenging times.
These events set SATA up for another year of innovation and growth in South Asia’s hospitality industry, and the Awards cement SATA’s role as the premier platform to promote and celebrate the best of travel and tourism in the region.
