Centara Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Andrew Jansson as Cluster General Manager for the soon-to-open Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives and Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives. The strategic appointment reflects Centara’s commitment to expanding its leadership team and driving the growth of its flagship properties around the world.
Andrew Jansson has almost 30 years of experience as a seasoned hospitality professional, having held leadership roles across 14 countries with renowned hotel chains such as Hyatt and Shangri-La. This appointment marks Jansson’s fourth resort management role in the Maldives where he will oversee the pre-opening and strategic development of Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives and Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives. His knowledge of the local market will be invaluable in setting strategic and operational goals for these properties and further establishing Centara’s expansion in the Maldives, in addition to the two existing properties currently in operation.
