Census Bureau Reports New home sales in June came in at a seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR) of 617,000, a significant upward revision when comparing the previous three months combined.
…The following chart shows new home sales by month (seasonally adjusted annualized rate) for 2023 and 2024. Sales in June 2024 were down 7.4% compared to June 2023.
After 13 consecutive months of year-on-year increases, it has now seen two consecutive months of year-on-year declines.
