London based Barclays bAnkh and Amazon The two companies have joined forces to launch a co-branded card, the Amazon Barclaycard, in the UK.
“We launched this card for people who love shopping on Amazon and want to earn rewards on their everyday spending,” a Barclays spokesman said. Bank Automation News.
Amazon Barclaycard users can earn the following rewards:
- 1% back on Amazon purchases;
- Earn 0.5% on everyday spending outside of Amazon.
- 2% cash back on Amazon during designated shopping events such as Prime Day.
Customers can claim rewards within the Barclays Card app, Barclays AppA spokesperson said: Prohibited.
Amazon Barclays Card $A Barclays spokesman said the $1.9 trillion bank and the technology provider had teamed up after the two companies launched a lending solution called “Installals by Barclays” in December 2021.
