Ifuru Island Maldives has appointed two prominent sales executives to lead its growth and market presence: Devindra de Silva has been appointed as sales manager for Europe, UK and US markets, while Manisha Walia will act as sales manager for India, Asia and local Destination Management Company (DMC).
Devindra brings a wealth of experience to Ifuru Island Maldives having started his career with Aitkin Spence Maritime (Clark Spence & Co. Ltd.) where he held positions in customer service and operations. With extensive experience in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry, Devindra has excelled in key roles at renowned brands such as Cinnamon, Amaya Kuda Rah and Nika Island Resort. Devindra is adept at developing strategic sales initiatives that consistently exceed targets and deliver significant revenue growth.
Manisha joins Ifuru Island Maldives with extensive experience in sales management and market development across India and Asia. Having started her career with a travel agency in India, Manisha moved into sales and marketing holding key roles at Brehnia Kottefaru and Amaya Kuda Rah in the Maldives. Her expertise extends to the MICE sector where she has successfully managed high profile events and client relationships. Manisha’s partner relationship management skills and deep understanding of regional market trends will be crucial in expanding Ifuru Island Maldives’ presence.
