This graph shows the number of reported deaths by week (vertical bars).
We met our original goal to stop posting weekly death counts, but we continue to post because deaths have exceeded our goal again.
The weekly death toll is almost four times higher than the low of 302 in early June, but is now on the decline and is likely to continue to do so, according to wastewater sampling.

This appears to be a leading indicator of hospitalization and death from the coronavirus.
COVID-19 infections in wastewater are on the decline and are now about double the low of last May, suggesting weekly deaths will continue to decline.
