Application deadline for the 2025 Nuffield Canada Agriculture Scholarship is June 30, 2024.
Nuffield Canada is offering $20,000 in scholarships to develop future agricultural leaders.of Nuffield Scholarship is a rural leadership program available to Canadians involved in all aspects of agriculture. The goal is to attract mid-career applicants with a passion for agriculture and who are ready to take on an independent trip or study abroad program.

Candidates can apply through a written and one-way video application process, from which candidates will be interviewed and shortlisted. Successful applicants will receive a $20,000 scholarship. Six people received scholarships in 2023.
Recipients will be required to undertake at least 10 weeks of travel research within a 24-month period to explore and research a topic of their choice related to contemporary production and practice. Nuffield will then write a scholarly report on the research findings, conclusions and recommendations and present it at the Nuffield Canada Annual Conference.
Scholarship recipients are from all sectors of primary production, including food, textiles, healthcare, biofuels, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries. Successful candidates will be able to represent all aspects of the value chain including primary production, processing, governance, communication, safety and mental health.
