The Maldives Association of Human Resource Professionals (MAHRP) has announced that the MAHRP HR Excellence Awards 2023 will be held on 24 July.
The event will be held at the Villa College QI Campus based on the application and process shared by the MAHRP in 2023.
This year’s awards will feature three individual awards and seven organisational awards covering workforce development, innovation and excellence, health and wellbeing, organisational culture, technology and growth.
Chairman of MAHRP, Ahmed Ibrahim, expressed delight that the vision of recognising the HR profession has become a reality.
“We are pleased to be the first to recognize leaders and organizations that are constantly stepping forward to lead the workforce development profession across the nation,” he said. “MAHRP will continue with this award every two years, as we believe it will encourage organizations to adapt to new changes and ideas to advance workforce excellence.”
MAHRP expressed its gratitude to all applicants and supporting partners, especially the judges.
The HR Excellence Awards 2023, organised by MAHRP, aims to recognise, recognise and encourage the contributions of HR professionals.
The objective of introducing such awards is to recognise and reward HR professionals at two distinct levels and to create a national-level award that is prestigious and widely accepted, MAHRP said in a statement.
“We aim to recognise their achievements, inspire the younger generation to pursue careers in human resource development and encourage organisations and countries to value the importance of human resource in their success,” the statement read.
Being a non-profit organisation, MAHRP is committed to driving activities and initiatives that add value to the network of HR professionals across the country. They are committed to making the association an inclusive HR professional association, where everyone has the opportunity to add value and collaborate to develop the much-needed talent in the Maldives.
Every year, MAHRP hosts the National HR Convention and Expo, the largest gathering in the Maldives focused on learning and development. In addition, it regularly hosts conferences on learning and development. It has also brought world-renowned service guru Ron Kaufman to the Maldives for impactful events alongside international speaker and mind power coach Robin Banks.
