Global Payment Platform Adyen Announced Tom Adams He will take on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
He succeeds Alexander Massey, who will step down at the end of his term later this year after 10 years with the company.
Adams previously led engineering at Cash App, a division of Block Inc., where he managed a global team of 1,500 engineers.
In his new role as CTO, he will oversee the company’s technology strategy and the development of a platform that integrates payments, data and financial services.
His appointment has been approved by the Dutch Central Bank and is pending shareholder approval at an upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting.
