In the future, processing centers combined with automation will become mainstream, and smart solutions will be the key to meeting customer needs.
2. What innovative technologies and solutions has your company implemented to give you an edge in the market?
Last year we introduced Protect Line, a digital twin that monitors the machining process 800 milliseconds ahead of the actual machining process, enabling the software to avoid machine crashes.

We are a project-oriented manufacturer that has been adapting to customer challenges for decades, and the ethos we have built over this time continues to help us face today’s challenges.
4. What role does sustainability play in your manufacturing processes and strategies?
As one of the few machining center manufacturers, we are committed to the SBTi and publish an annual sustainability report, which details the projects we are working on to achieve the SBTi standards.
Our commitment to sustainability also applies to our customers: CHIRON Group’s processing centers and the manufacturing processes they enable are designed with efficiency in mind. Their environmental footprint is impressive, not only in terms of energy requirements but also in terms of the use of resources such as production time, space requirements, investments and personnel. A prime example is the Micro5, which processes delicate parts with high precision in the smallest of spaces, consuming up to 50 times less energy than conventional systems.

1. What do you foresee as the major developments in the machine tool industry over the next five years?
We can expect advances in hardware and software, including smarter capabilities and networks, automated IoT-enabled machines, and artificial intelligence.
2. How is your organization preparing for future trends and challenges?
As a trendsetter and solution provider, our customers are very important to us as we evolve with the latest trends and demands of the market and we are always adapting to these demands and implementing it in our machines.
