Japanese JCB International Expanded partnership with Canadian payment company Nubei.
This will enable businesses in Singapore and Hong Kong to accept JCB credit and debit card payments through Nuvei’s platform.
The partnership will enable merchants integrated with Nuvei to accept payments from JCB’s 158 million cardholders.
This expansion further builds on existing collaborations in Europe and strengthens Nuvei’s presence in the Asia-Pacific e-commerce market.
Nuvei is a fully licensed local direct acquirer in Singapore and Hong Kong, and has recently obtained a Major Payment Institution license in Singapore.
The company’s modular payments platform connects clients and customers in more than 200 markets, supports 716 alternative payment methods, and offers acquiring in more than 50 markets.
